ADP is hiring a Sr Director, Carrier Strategy

The Sr. Director is responsible for understanding and developing a growth plan and engagement strategy for their designated carrier relationship(s). The Director, Carrier Strategy's ultimate objective is to increase client persistency and drive new business growth within their established carrier relationships.

  • Expert on the designated carrier product portfolio(s)
  • Deep understanding of market-level insights
  • Ongoing evaluation & maintenance of the benefits product to ensure competitiveness
  • Lead engagement (and growth) plan with designated carrier
  • Monitors carrier win/loss & overall performance
  • Negotiates plan / leads renewal discussions
  • Facilitates Carrier Strategy discussions
  • Leads discussions across various business units to support the development of strategy and execution of solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Works collaboratively with internal and external constituents

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major area of concentration in Business Administration or Health & Wealth Disciplines.
  • 5-8+ years' experience working in the benefits industry.
  • Understands fundamentals of funding arrangements including risk management practices for small and large group segments.
  • Account/Relationship Management Experience
  • Demonstrated experience with benefits strategy
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working Knowledge of regulations in benefits including Section 125, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA/COBRA
  • CEBS or State Life and Health License
