In this role, you will deliver engaging instructor-led training using ADP delivery standards in virtual, on-site, or hybrid classrooms while applying adult learning theory. You will facilitate sessions on the technical features and functional aspects of solutions as well as role specific skills and knowledge to enable the effective use of systems, tools, and processes by learners. And in this role, you will provide associates the abiltiy to do their jobs and ensure clients are prepared for their initial and on-going utilization of the multiple-product offerings, features, and support services at ADP.

Your day to day, as a Learning Consultant will have a primary focus on conducting training for associates or clients. You may find you have opportunities to work on specific program delivery from new hire to special project roll-outs. You may also provide input to the instructional design team for enhancements and updates to existing training curriculum and may participate in the instructional development process by testing/editing materials and by providing feedback regarding class flow, hands-on exercises, and knowledge checks. In addition, you will have opportunities to provide consultative input, using a big picture view of client and associate needs/gaps in relation to task focus and completion. In addition, you may also be asked to conduct field observations and participate in field activities such as: side-by-side calls and roundtables to drive associate engagement and ensure content remains revelant, updated, and effective.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to use your strong facilitation skills that will help you in having a major impact for our associate and client learners. You will grow in functional knowledge of ADP products and processes. Through consulting with learners and partners, you will grow in your ability to have direct, effective impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities
Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
- Delivery: Deliver functional, technical, and/or skills training to associates and clients. This may include new hire orientation and/or any rotational associate training, and all product curricula, enhancement product curricula, and associated process and soft skill training because of a new system release, a new job tool or process, as well as role specific process changes. Apply adult learning theory and facilitation techniques to manage group and individual dynamics and learning styles to ensure the success of each learner. Respond to participant questions and elaborate on training content using knowledge of products, business processes, and roles and responsibilities. Deliver core orientation and service skills training programs in addition to product training.
- Effectiveness: Consults with instructional designers on curricula effectiveness and makes recommendations on changes to existing classes and the development of new classes to enhance associate performance and client experience. Identify opportunities to integrate curriculum among products as well as opportunities to blend curriculum among products as well as opportunities to blend curriculum to enhance scalability and operational efficiencies.
- Functional Knowledge: Keep up-to-date and proficient on products and processes used by Enterprise Learning to facilitate training (i.e., Virtual training tools), prep the classroom, (i.e., Desktop imaging/cleanup tools) and enroll and track course enrollment (i.e., Learning Management System). Keep up-to-date and proficient on ADP's products and services. Maintain all relevant certifications to products and services. Keep abreast of the latest industry trends regarding service skills, communications skills, and facilitation skills.
- Consulting: Understand associate performance goals and consult with associates on how to best apply tools and processes to perform their roles efficiently and effectively. May provide feedback to participants' managers, the Learning Business Partner, or Enterprise Learning leadership on skill gaps that exist within the business group or job function and recommend solutions for bridging gaps.
Where applicable, understand client business needs and consult with clients on how to best utilize products and services to meet the business need. This includes a thorough understanding of technical best practices to optimize the system performance.
- Coach/Mentor: Coach and mentor team members.
- Administrative: Perform administrative responsibilities such as Learning Management System tasks, class survey distribution, completion of monthly status reports, and time tracking responsibilities.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years' experience in training, service, implementation or equivalent knowledge/experience with ADP GlobalView Payroll Solution.
- A college degree is not required but could set you apart. What's more important is having the skills and experience to do the job. You will need:
- Experience in training, service, implementation, or equivalent knowledge/experience with pertinent HCM products/solutions.
- Experience processing/supporting payroll processing or in a customer facing service role.
- Experience developing and delivering engaging instructor led technical or skills training.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a focus on service excellence.
- Proven experience identifying and leading change/process improvement within previous roles.
BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources.
- Certification such as CPP, PHR, or FPC.
- Knowledge of Cognition, adult learning, instructional design, and delivery theories.
- Experience using Webex or other virtual delivery tools.
- Aptitude to quickly pick up and learn new content and skills.
