In this role, you will be part of ADP's User Experience Research team, where you will lead programs that improve the research practice at ADP, focusing on research enablement, recruitment oversight, and client engagement. Every day, you will be partnering strategically with research leaders, UX researchers and our stakeholders. You're on a constant mission to remove friction in the research process, and you are an excellent communicator and flexible team player.

To thrive in this role, you should be comfortable establishing processes to scale across all phases of experience research, from planning to recruiting and insights sharing You understand the end-to-end research process, along with both qualitative and quantitative methods, so that you can enable best practices across the research community and the wider ADP organization. We're looking for an out-of-the-box thinker with a hunger to try new things and a passion for impact. What You'll Do:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Senior Lead UX Researcher, Enablement & Operations, at ADP.

  • Strategy and vision. As a strategic thought leader who thinks end-to-end, you can set goals and prioritize delivering the most important work, aligned with the vision of UX Research practice. You define and drive cross-functional operations, working with diverse stakeholders across multiple business units. You are good at extracting the needs of research leaders, stakeholders, and business leaders to define and prioritize the most important work. You have the ability to create alignment, sometimes amongst stakeholders whose needs are in conflict. Additionally, you can quickly devise and communicate a plan against stated outcomes.
  • Influence and governance. You're adept at building strong relationships with functions across the company that research relies on- Legal, Marketing, Product, Dev, Service, Sales, and Marketing, all in the spirit of enabling research with quality and compliance.
  • Collaboration. You'll work each day with people from across the research team and broader ADP org in a fast-paced environment, focused on simplifying processes and reducing operational friction, enabling others to focus on their work.
  • Recruit & Connect. Having experience establishing and managing panels for user research, you'll maintain and grow ADP's Client panel, with appropriate outreach, communications, and incentives that build trust and community. Furthermore, you will be the main point of contact for research enablement, engaging with partners such as product, design, and content writers to execute their own projects.
  • Measure and track. You can prioritize, plan, design, execute, and optimize simple and complex processes and systems that support tactical to strategic research workflows. You will lead and support the Jira process across the research team, from intake to delivery.
  • Experience. You have 7+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in a Research Operations role with proficiency in project/program management, process excellence, or customer experience.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR higher.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in a Research Operations role with proficiency in project/program management, process excellence, or customer experience.
  • Your understanding of UX Research tools, such as UserTesting, Maze, User Interviews, Dovetail, Qualtrics, or similar will give you the comfort in this role to be successful.
  • Experience with HCM, B2B, and/or similarly complex products requiring complex research recruitment.
  • Familiarity with how research impacts the product development lifecycle and how research operations support business goals
  • Able to plan complex initiatives, set and commit to timelines, raise risks in a timely fashion, and deliver on time.
  • Effective and engaging written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex data, information, and process in a simple way; ability to advocate for the impact of research in written form.
  • Train researchers to uphold research ethics best practices and build a system to hold them accountable.
  • Experience facilitating workshops a plus.
  • An advanced degree in HF/HCI or a related discipline isn't required but could set you apart.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $88,800.00 - $237,960.00 / Year
