As a Upgrades Senior Implementation Specialist - Payroll, you will lead or have a PM on projects within and across our business by completing an end to end process to ensure project completion / successful go-live on time, within scope, and with quality/accuracy.

You will partner and work with existing clients to understand their business needs; analyze their existing system setup, interface requirements, and business processes; and guide and drive clients towards a successful Upgrade project.

What you'll do:

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Implement Payroll. You will follow a very detailed End to End process guide and leverage automated tools from project Kick-Off to Go-Live/Transition to Service inclusive of a payroll analysis, payroll interview, configuration request, employee load, testing, year to date load, payroll parallels, and netsecure migration all with the support of an intact Implementation Team Lead and support team.
  • Manage projects. For projects that don't have a PM assigned, you'll manage project delivery and execution for mid-market client implementations from initial project identification to hand-off to the Client Service Delivery team. You will be accountable for planning, managing, leading, and motivating a cross-functional team to implement projects in support of ADP Sales.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert. You'll lead and manage comprehensive project plans and identify risks and issues. You will execute best practices and industry leading methodology.
  • Partner internally. You'll communicate with project stakeholders including the ADP leadership team and client project teams and will transfer your knowledge/skills to other members of the Implementation team.
  • Build and maintain relationships. You'll manage strong, healthy relationships with stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors ensuring that project delivery expectations are clearly defined and met. You will build and maintain a referenceable customer relationship.

General Responsibilities

  • Thorough understanding of Upgrade Implementation processes and methodology.
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts from project initiation to close.
  • Record and manage project deliverables, risks and actions
  • Managing project risks and escalations to resolution. Develop, manage and maintain a comprehensive Implementation Project Plan.
  • Provide regular Implementation status reports to stakeholders, highlighting critical issues for management and overall status of project.
  • Support client through all phases of the Upgrade as required.
  • Assists client with training enrollment and follows up on training completion.
  • Guides client through planning change management activities and recommends best practices.
  • Proficient at providing on-site product overview sessions, if required.
  • Provide ongoing payroll consulting support to assigned clients until transition to Client Services.
  • Follow through on all aspects of the Upgrade project scope to ensure a clean transition to client services.
  • Commitment to a team environment demonstrating a positive approach and co-operation
  • Act as a single point of contact for all project related issues and escalations
  • Actively manage plans, dependencies, scope, risks, issues and quality, and deliver projects in line with agreed upon overall project commitments
  • Managing project scope. Investigating and making recommendations on issues that challenge scope boundaries
  • Monitoring and reporting on project traction and progress and, as necessary, coordinating the development, discussion and approval of corrective action and/or contingency plans
  • Building and effectively managing multidisciplinary project teams
  • Managing stakeholder relations to ensure that project delivery expectations are clearly defined and met. Build and maintain a reference-able customer relationship

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll, HR or implementation
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong excel skills and Microsoft Office.
  • General technical knowledge of operating systems and networking infrastructures including general internet concepts.

Bonus points for these:

  • PCP certification completed or in progress
  • Project Management knowledge/discipline
  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or other ADP product experience
  • Bilingual French, English
