Your Role & Responsibilities

Supporting our business in Germany as a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a key role as the senior advisor of an assigned business unit, working with managers and their teams to achieve the organizational goals, people strategy, and business targets according to our vision and mission.

You will influence our managers to focus on leading, succession planning, learning and development, talent management, and improving team engagement. You will also closely collaborate with different works council bodies to strengthen good relationships. It's a hands-on, multi-faceted role and you will need to demonstrate that you have experience in dealing with a wide range of employee relations topics, including compliance, change processes and performance management.

As an excellent communicator, you will have to deliver HR knowledge, initiatives, and support to associates and managers and will lead negotiations with employee representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to Senior Director Human Resources for Germany & Poland, working closely with HR team across EMEA
  • Everyday cooperation with leaders. associates and works councils, being the go-to person in all HR matters.
  • Building strong partnerships with all functions to make sure that business goals are achieved within the respect to HR processes
  • Labor law advisory including co-determination topics as well as ensuring that proposed solutions are compliant with internal policies
  • Leading Performance Management processes with all stakeholders, supporting managers during goal`s setting and merit processes.
  • Ensuring proactive communication in the organization as well as supporting budgeting processes.

Your Profile

  • At least 7 years of experience in an HR generalist role
  • Experience in international companies with matrix organization
  • Experience in cooperation and negotiations with Works- Councils (legal background is beneficial but not a requirement)
  • Hands-on approach, good communication skills
  • Well-proven labor law knowledge and practice
  • German Native and English: C Level (everyday cooperation in English)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with different business areas
  • Sense of humor
