Responsibility

  • To work closely with ADP's UK Business Unit, managing and leading a team of 8+ ambitious Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and collaborating with Marketing, Operations and Sales teams, to help generate new business opportunities and maintain our company's position as a global industry leader.
  • Own all processes of Lead management within territory and drive the success of your team, ensuring a high level of quality and healthy pipeline of new opportunities are delivered to our partners in the field.

What you will do:

  • Use your experience to support and coach the UK Sales Development team, covering Enterprise and Mid-Market sectors, helping them effectively leverage all available means of researching and qualifying of accounts and contacts, while staying on top of trends within the wider market.
  • Be a true Leader, you will be your team's facilitator for continuous improvement and development, delivering a high level of continuous performance and engagement.
  • Motivate and guide your team to achieve their overall goals.
  • Act as a thought-leader and drive transformations and necessary process changes, successfully aligning behaviors to business objectives.
  • Use all available means to support your team, so that they can produce a regular flow of qualified, sales ready Opportunities into Sales Pipeline.
  • Partner and collaborate closely with the UK Business Unit, Sales VPs, Sales Managers, District Managers and many other departments involved in our success as a company.
  • Make sure that our Sales Development process is followed correctly by the reps and other partners in the sales-cycle, so that our CRM is always updated and reflecting our efforts.
  • Hold people accountable and have a high standard of ethics and transparency, to help the team deliver constantly on their commitments.
  • Report directly to our Senior Director of Sales Development and Commercial Operations. It is expected you will also hold other useful matrix relationships with the global Sales Development team, so you can stay on top of progress and status across our international team and make sure your voice is part of the Sales Development conversation.
  • Manage all Inbound processes for marketing generated Leads to ensure they are validated and allocated by the LDRs and other partners, so as to control the Lead flow related to your team's territory.
  • Work in accordance with agreed procedures and specific local regulations and demands.
  • Organise and attend regular 'one to one' meetings, team meetings, and forecasting meetings, to give/receive feedback, monitor performance/identify training needs. Make performance appraisals, distribute objectives and reports;
  • Help teammates improve their performance or skill level, by providing them with all necessary help to get back on track with their results.
  • Take part in company events, conferences, trainings and other meetings as per local initiatives.
  • Manage your team's administrative needs (holidays, sickness, specific needs/demands).
  • Handle escalations or challenging situations in a timely, professional manner, aimed at delivering results and restoring the productivity and performance levels.
  • Participate in recruiting and lead the on-boarding of new hires in the team.
  • Own the SDR and LDR processes for your territory so you will keep workflows, and knowledge management content well documented and regularly updated.
  • Manage, monitor and coach for daily/weekly/monthly performance and always keep an eye on improving the overall team's success.
  • Provide insight and experience, by contributing to and leading projects aimed at innovating and improving on process and procedures for pipeline growth.

Who you are as a professional:

  • At least 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in Sales, Marketing or Sales Development roles.
  • Target driven and have experience working within Prospecting on Leads and Opportunities in a CRM environment (Salesforce.com desirable).
  • High degree of comfort in building and maintaining professional relationships and engaging with Senior Leaders and C-Suite contacts.
  • Entrepreneurial by nature and can demonstrate such behaviors to us.
  • Understanding of digital communication tools like Social Media, Video or Phone Selling and E-mail Marketing and have been exposed to other technologies used for prospecting and research.
  • Passionate about pipeline growth and associate development.
