As a Project Manager within our Health Care Reform business, you will lead, coordinate, support project teams responsible for the successful planning, coordination and implementation of projects focused on driving business goals and objectives. In this role you will work with individuals and teams at all levels including senior leaders, people leaders, frontline associates, and other internal partners to drive cross-functional projects that will have a lasting impact. You'll work in a high-visibility capacity and be known as a change agent throughout the organization.

You will manage the project life cycle for multiple, complex, and strategic initiatives. This includes identifying ideal solutions to business problems, bringing people together across functional lines, bridging business goals with other partners, driving alignment, and executing upon identified solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead large project teams responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets.
  • Lead all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
  • Direct day-to-day activities of projects and project team members
  • Ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project vehicles and coordination of resources
  • Work collaboratively with other partners and departments impacting the project.
  • Lead communication with stakeholders and team members through the completion of the project
  • Develop strong partnerships and working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Direct project timelines and budgets
  • Assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues
  • Employ highly developed consultative skills
  • Tailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects
  • Make decisions based on information and input in a timely manner
  • Provide analysis of the project, including business case, ROI, and post-project review
  • Drive innovation, best practices, and achievement of strategic objectives
  • Manage or support multiple projects focused on business realization of strategic objectives

To Succeed in this role: Requirements:

  • At least three years of Project Management Experience and/or continuous improvement experience
  • Prior work experience managing medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects
  • Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels with internal and external contacts verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations.
  • Ability to work and thrive independently and in a team environment, focused on achieving results and meeting deadlines.
  • A natural curiosity to learn and the ability to inspire the same curiosity in others.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.

College degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include:

  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Bonus Points for These: Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Applications - Planner, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Lists, Forms, Power Automate.
  • PMP or equivalent professional project management certification.
