ADP is hiring a GV Associate Implementation Project Manager. In this position you will as a member of ADP's GlobalView® Implementation team, Regional Project Management staff are responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of projects to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes and allocated budgets. Project Managers must follow ADP GlobalView's defined project methodology and manage client expectations throughout the lifecycle of the project.

This position requires 25% of travel activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ongoing responsibility, contribution to, and compliance with the ADP GV Project Management Methodology in liaison Line Manager and Methodology Manager.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement cycle of implementation process and ensuring it is aligned with global best practices, and utilizes clear standards and templates.
  • Ensures the successful implementation of projects leading a team of implementation associates providing leadership and serving as primary, project level liaison for clients.
  • Identify the most effective allocation of resources and tools required for project in compliance with project requirement.
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of the project to ensure successful delivery of project scope, timelines and budget.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Project Scheduling and Cost Control:
  • Oversees the project preparation and planning functions by:
    • Developing project direction and conversion strategies
    • Establishing project plan, communication expectations and assigning/scheduling project tasks to team in accordance with established contract
    • Ensure forecast for staffing hours is created and maintained with high level of accuracy
    • Planning and resource scheduling

Issue, Risk & Change Management:

  • Manage project's scope, estimate of hours and asses impacts to requested changes
  • Serves as project escalation point for issues impacting project success that requires resolution
  • Leads inter-departmental coordination efforts required for specific project tasks.
  • Coordinates the transition of new clients from Sales to Implementation to Client Services
  • Ensure definition and compliance to issue management
    • Monitor issues on a weekly basis
    • Monitor escalation of problems
  • Ensure risk management via mitigation strategies
  • Ensure proper tracking of Change requests with appropriate signoffs
  • Effectively communicates relevant project status updates to stakeholders (Internal and External).
  • Facilitates communication with client stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with a focus on enhanced client relationships and satisfaction.
  • Ensuring project documentation is stored in accordance with ADP Quality Audit requirements utilizing Collaboration tool and ensuring project team is adhering to these requirements.
  • Tracks team hours and approves accordingly through use of PlanView project tool to ensure utilization is appropriate to project needs.
  • Project Leadership/Mentoring:
  • Participates in performance management and professional development activities by providing immediate feedback to team members regarding their performance and supplying input to Implementation Management on the professional development of team members
  • Ensure a qualitative management of client relationship
  • Provide recommendation to the client to reduce gaps and ensure standard product use
  • Manage client's expectations during project
  • Deliver proposals on client's procedures in order to optimize proposed solution
  • Ensure high level of client satisfaction
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 3 to 5 years of Directly Related Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Project Management/ PM administrative experience in IT and/or Payroll/HR Industry
  • Formal Project Management qualifications is highly desired.
  • SAP HCM -- nonessential.
