As Lead Front-End Developer - Analytics & Graphing for ADP Research, you will develop intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces while creating sophisticated data visualizations and analytics insights. You will work closely with our data scientists and design teams to build interactive web applications that deliver valuable insights and enhance the broad understanding of the world of work.

What you'll do:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

Front-End Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Understand and review Python and SQL code to leverage and generate content and insights.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into high-quality, reusable code.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Analytics & Graphing:

  • Develop and integrate interactive charts, graphs, and data visualizations using libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, or Highcharts.
  • Implement data analytics features in Python and SQL to provide valuable insights to users.
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and data sources for real-time analytics.
  • Analyze user interaction data to refine and improve user interface and experience.

Collaboration & Improvement:

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for front-end development and data visualization.
  • Engage in regular meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve skills and apply new techniques.

Experience. You have 8+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role, including 3+ years of front-end development experience with a strong portfolio of web applications.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Expertise in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Expertise with data visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly, Highcharts or similar.
  • Experience with data analytics concepts and techniques.
  • Experience with Python and SQL code
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • You will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent.

For additional comfortability in the role:

  • Experience with back-end technologies and APIs (e.g., Node.js, RESTful services).
  • Experience with best practices in utilizing AWS as a web hosting service.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Experience with performance optimization and testing frameworks.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $77,100.00 - $206,820.00 / Year
