Job Summary:
The Managed service team is one of the organizations inside the BU in Italy.
The payroll Specialist intern (4 months) handles the payroll end to end for clients for the One Service platform's new Celergo/Streamline/ BOB clients for Italy.
He/she is the client's privileged partner, helping the client to solve any issues that might appear during the payroll process.
As part of his/her mission, he/she aims to satisfy clients while ensuring uninterrupted service.
He/she applies the payroll process to provide all the deliveries expected for the client.
Responsibilities:
- Produce timely and accurate payroll - includes all interface and payroll processing activities.
- Ensure quality controls in the payroll process and update documentation - includes reconciliation of results and audit checks.
- Extract monthly and annual reports (YE activities) and acts as a back up for colleagues.
- Act as day-to-day liaison with client designated contacts for payroll-related processing;
- Respond to client inquiries and take appropriate action ensuring timely review and resolution of issues.
- Work effectively across ADP Italy to resolve client issues.
- Maintain client payroll procedure manuals and business process documents.
- Highlight and escalate relevant matters that may impact the running of client payrolls.
- Process relevant tax forms for client employees.
- Conduct timely and accurate processing of cyclical events including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
- Constantly and actively contribute to the Standardization and Improvement process.
- Uses expertise to enhance activities that drive positive change.

Education and experience:
Education: Graduate degree or related experience
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Entry level of Italian (A2 minimum) & English B2
- Autonomy, proactivity, adaptability and reactivity
- Challenged by new technologies and by digitization overall
- Technical skills: Excel, Word
- Has the sense of service
- Is rigorous to follow the process
- Is proactive to improve the process
- Possesses a continuous improvement mind-set and is receptive to change
- Has team spirit
