POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for DM and SD sales support and analysis to streamline sales process and ensure data integrity and compliance, beginning with initial presentation, proposals, underwriting and benefits review and final handoff to implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overview
    • Performs functions and services as defined in SC Baseline, training and ongoing procedures, using standardized processes, tools, and deliverables to streamline sales process and promote data integrity and compliance. Uses tools and standards to consistently produce error free results in a timely manner.
    • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of relevant tools, processes, and products to ensure data integrity and compliance.
    • Independently manages to the completion of tasks for clients in all stages of the sales process. Provides timely and accurate input on project status.
    • Takes initiative to drive the sales process and uses persuasion skills/personal power to ensure compliance with business rules.
  • Prospecting and Marketing support
    • Supports salesforce.com and prospecting activity:
      • o works with salesforce.com support to ensure territorial alignment and appropriate access for sales team;
      • o provides tracking reports as needed for management
      • o supports direct mail and marketing campaigns using mail merge and various marketing tools
      • o tracks leads, assists in coordination of lead queue in Salesforce.com
  • Sales Process and Admin Support
    • Ensures DM uses standard tools and process for Initial Presentation:
      • o providing standard data for all IPs by preparing customized IP folders
    • Performs initial client research to prepare DM for IP
      • Runs D&B credit report
      • Pulls Work Comp mods using NCCI or other source
      • Provides call prep sheet by identifying appropriate industry and research.
    • Supports standardized client presentations in compliance with policies by assisting DM with preparation of powerpoint presentations, and customized promotional resources.
    • Supports client proposals by:
      • Preparing standard legal documents and facilitating customized documents as needed.
      • Preparing benefits contract (CBE) and rate sheets using tools and systems
      • Preparing business proposal binder and related resources
    • Ensures availability of complete, updated marketing materials and resources for sales team by using Ariba, sales training website and other resources as needed.
    • Provides limited administrative support to management
    • Responsible for initial DM setup and systems, ensures sales training enrollment.
    • Supports Resource (ASO) DMs with eSTART, inputting orders and driving the closed deal process.
  • Benefits Analysis and Compliance
    • Prepares and validates benefit programs for evaluation by BRET system and Carrier Relations:
    • Uses critical thinking to determine appropriate SIC code for benefits and Risk analysis based on multiple resources
    • Prepares employee benefits census and works with client to confirm data variances
    • Identifies available plan offerings for all prospect employees by performing complex site matching and complying with carrier business rules
    • Conducts premium differential analysis using standard tools and current client healthcare plan data
    • Facilitates data integrity throughout sales process by Communicating data requirements to client
    • Complying with ADP Security procedures and promoting client and internal compliance
    • Serving as primary data conduit for collection, gathering and validation of data and related documentation
  • Risk Analysis and Compliance
    • Facilitates data integrity throughout sales process by
    • Communicating data requirements to client
    • Complying with ADP Security procedures and promoting client and internal compliance
    • Serving as primary data conduit for collection, gathering and validation of data and related documentation
    • Supports appropriate client pricing by:
      • Obtaining and summarizing payroll register / AMC data
      • Researching workers comp codes to ensure valid entries
      • Facilitates risk and credit analysis by
      • Collecting and submitting documentation as needed in Knowledge Bin
      • Responding to and supporting requests for information
  • Transition to Implementation
  • Ensures accurate and comprehensive handoff to Implementation by:
  • Preparing and auditing closed deal package to ensure complete and accurate documentation, signatures and data
  • Preparing and auditing employee indicative data file using Excel, GSW and related tools, and working with client to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Promotes accurate and compliant employee forms completion by Preparing employee forms package for client using complex tools (i.e. Adobe Professional)
  • Promoting accurate and thorough employee forms completing via client follow-up and guidance
  • Assists in negotiation of timelines and deliverables
  • Training and Development
  • Facilitates DM training in new systems and processes
  • Supports development of regional and divisional tools to further streamline sales process and ensure data integrity

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree
  • EXPERIENCE: One to two years of experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Systems, Human Resources, or equivalent in education and experience required.
  • Communication training or equivalent helpful. Preparation for professional certification helpful (PHR, CPP, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of industry equivalent products, services, and tools.
  • A history of successful performance in one of the following operational, implementation or service positions:
    • Implementation Support Rep
    • PSR, BSR, HRG
  • A combination of one to two years of experience in a relevant industry, a HRIS practitioner and/or with system implementations.
