We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Infrastructure Migration Leader to manage the migration of our leading Retirement and RUN Powered by ADP Products from our on-premises data centers to Azure and our Insurance products to AWS The candidate will be expected to manage a Matrix team of Infrastructure, Application Development, Service, and Vendor (Microsoft, AWS and associated Partners) resources to drive workload migrations to the Cloud whilst accelerating the digital transformation of Application Development, DevOps and Operations. This is an executive-facing role, reporting to the SVP of Product Development, with frequent updates to the Product Development and executive committee leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Cloud migrations for Small Business Services (SBS). Interface with the product development and infrastructure teams, SBS, Global Enterprise & Technology Solutions (GETS), Global Product Development (GPD) and XCOM Leadership teams
  • Manage the Vendor (Microsoft and Amazon) and associated Partners as required
  • Coordinating across other solution areas to collaborate and drive the migration with minimal impact on Alex (our client persona).
  • Manage the training of Development, Infrastructure, DevOps and Operational teams in acquiring the right skills to operate effectively in a cloud ecosystem, ensure that teams incorporate a mix of expertise across key workloads including Compute, Security, Networking, Storage, and other Cloud Infrastructure services
  • Drive guidance on architectural design, technical recommendations, blocker escalations and technical resource orchestration within the GPD teams.
  • Drive operational excellence, including observability, consumption utilization, resiliency management and high-quality reporting and insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software or Infrastructure OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience in Near Term (2 years out) in Cloud ecosystems
  • 3+ years of technical leadership experience in any of the following: consulting/professional services, product development, product leadership, infrastructure management
  • Migrated at least 1 large-scale financial web application to Azure and AWS respectively
  • 3+ years people management experience preferred
