Position summary

The Assessor will be responsible to assess the risk that will be introduced by adopting a new partner or vendor service or product. The risk assessments include reviewing technical, administrative, and physical security controls while working closely with internal clients (ADP Business Units) from different international teams. While working independently on assigned security reviews, the assessors will collaborate with different experts and key stakeholders, for example from other GSO teams, Procurement, Legal, or Privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform third party risk assessments to ensure compliance with ADP standards and industry best practices
  • Work with different GSO teams to ensure review of integrations with ADP ecosystem before implementation
  • Identify and report potential gaps to ensure that risk will be mitigated to an acceptable level
  • Document confirmed gaps and partner with business leaders and third parties on impacts and remediation
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Partner with stakeholders to increase third party risk awareness across the organization
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of current and new technology to understand third party offerings and the needs from internal stakeholders as well as the risk resulting from these
  • Contribute to the development of the third-party risk program with ideas to effectively mitigate third party risk

Qualifications required

  • Professional with at least 5 years working experience
  • University degree or equivalent in experience or education
  • Experience in reviewing and managing security controls that may pose a risk (Risk Management)
  • Proven ability to work independently and own a topic
  • Ability to communicate effectively being conscious of the audience, for example in complicated scenarios with stakeholders with lack of knowledge of the subject being discussed
  • Fluent communication in English. Additional languages are pluses
  • Open minded and ability to work in a multinational environment

Qualifications preferred

  • Risk management-based mindset
  • Curiosity and ambition to understand new scenarios and technology
  • Knowledge of different standards and frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST
