Job Type: Full Time; 8am - 5pm

$12-13 per hour

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Data Entry at or above 7,000 kph with minimum of 98% accuracy
  • Previous medical customer service/medical office experience required
  • Must demonstrate problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit and move freely for extended periods of time

Job Duties:
  • Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them promptly and providing the highest level of customer service, assisting patients as they complete all necessary paperwork
  • Schedule appointments, take accurate messages and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal, financial and insurance information
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Responding to patient billing or financial inquiries, directing to appropriate departments, as necessary
  • Collect and post payments and record receipts
