We are currently seeking an HR Supervisor to join the team of a leading manufacturer in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. This position will support one of the manufacturing facilities and will report into the HR Director of this business unit. Responsibilities will include leading the HR team, performance management, training and development, policy/procedure development and compliance. This is a highly visible role that will regularly interact with executives and operational leadership.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Oversee performance management
- Handle employee relations and investigations
- Lead performance reviews and merit increases
- Partner with business leaders to ensure effective talent management strategies are in place
- Manage new employee on-boarding process
- Conduct company-wide HR trainings; manage training and development needs
- Supervise HR Generalists and Administrators and guide daily workflow
- Assist with benefits administration as needed
- Handle HR reporting including presentations and spreadsheets utilizing PowerPoint and Excel

Requirements :
- Minimum of ten years work experience in a human resources capacity
- Prior supervisory experience
- Experience supporting salaried and exempt level employees in a manufacturing setting
- Four year degree in related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- PHR and/or SPHR certification desired
- Advanced Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables
