Title: Part-time Administrative Assistant
Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to work for around 20-25 hours per week. The Administrative Assistant's responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Working with the underwriting team by downloading RFP's and setting up submissions in the underwriting system
- Entering census data and managing & maintaining sold case group files
- Ensuring that all information such as E&O and Fidelity coverages are current with our producers
- Downloading claim submissions
- Entering monthly aggregate data from reports into the system
- Assisting claims examiners as needed
- Answering the office phones, handling the mail, maintaining office supplies and billing

- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office suite
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience with medical insurance industry is a plus
