At Accruent, our Accounting Team is the financial backbone that supports our mission. Our dedicated team members are meticulous stewards of the company's financial health, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning that align with our organizational goals. As an Accounting Analyst on our team, you will play a critical role in managing the integrity of our accounting processes. We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable taking initiative and can work independently in a remote environment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly, meet critical deadlines, and align with our business objectives.
How you'll make a difference
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries.
- Performing monthly account analysis and reconciliation.
- Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly (if any) accruals.
- Assist with monthly close process.
- Performing SOX controls tasks as assigned.
- Assist in preparation of internal and external audits.
- Understand and apply accounting principle, policies, and procedures.
- Review and assist with payroll entries and related accruals (as needed).
- Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request.
You'll stand out if you
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Have a general understanding of GAAP.
- Have experience with NetSuite.
- Have a strong written and verbal English communication skills.
