The Work:
Accenture Federal Services is rapidly expanding and scaling our cloud and infrastructure services business to help the Federal Government meet the challenges of modernizing their technology infrastructure. AFS brings the power and innovation of Accenture's global Cloud First initiative and its multi-decade history of infrastructure consulting and infrastructure operations at commercial clients to the Federal Government. AFS is currently looking for hands-on cloud network engineers with traditional networking experience such as routing and switching and who has made the pivot to building networks for cloud services or have experience in implementing software defined networks for their companies or clients.

Qualifications
Here's what you need to bring:
- 3 or more years of experience with any of the following
- Local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) implementation or operations
- Wireless LAN implementations with cloud or on-premises controllers
- Data center network (spine and leaf) implementation
- Local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) implementation or operations
- 1 or more years of experience with any of the following
- Software defined networking implementation or operations
- Software Defined WAN such as Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki), VMWare SD-WAN (Velocloud), HPE Aruba SD-WAN (Silver Peak), Versa Networks SD-WAN, Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN (CloudGenix), or Fortinet SD-WAN
- Software Defined Data Center such as Cisco ACI and ACI Anywhere, VMWare NSX (NSX-V or NSX-T), or Arista Software Defined Cloud Networking (SDCN).
- Software Defined LAN and Wireless LAN such as Cisco SD-Access or HPE Aruba SD-Branch
- Software Defined WAN such as Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki), VMWare SD-WAN (Velocloud), HPE Aruba SD-WAN (Silver Peak), Versa Networks SD-WAN, Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN (CloudGenix), or Fortinet SD-WAN
- Network automation implementation or operations
- Utilizing device manufacturer APIs to centrally configure network devices
- Utilizing orchestration engines such as Ansible or Terraform to configure network devices
- Writing scripts against device manufacturer APIs to obtain device health or performance metrics
- Utilizing device manufacturer APIs to centrally configure network devices
- Cloud networking implementation or operations
- Implementing or maintaining the network for Amazon VPCs, Azure VNETs, Google Cloud VPCs, or Oracle VPCs
- Implementing or maintaining high-speed, low-latency connections from on-premises locations to the cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, Google Dedicated Interconnect, or Oracle FastRoute
- Implementing or maintaining the network for Amazon VPCs, Azure VNETs, Google Cloud VPCs, or Oracle VPCs
- Cloud-based network security deployment or operations
- Secure Access Services Edge such as
- Zscaler: Zscaler Private Access
- Palo Alto Prisma
