Senior Medicaid Data Warehouse Business Analysts Testers use their technical skills and knowledge of healthcare data and Medicaid systems to perform analysis and testing activities for Texas Medicaid s data analytics systems. This role functions as a member of an Agile Scrum team that relies on teamwork, technical skills, and business acumen. Medicaid Business Analysts Testers work with stakeholders to define business requirements, analyze Medicaid data, and test system changes. Senior resources are relied upon to complete more challenging tasks that involve the more complex parts of the system and to resolve critical issues. Senior resources operate with limited supervision and must demonstrate excellent time management, work planning, and communication. They also help to develop other team members by regularly sharing knowledge, peer reviewing work products, and providing constructive feedback.

Use SQL and other technical skills to analyze and understand Medicaid data in a data warehouse environment
User SAP Business Intelligence BusinessObjects skills to define and test reporting solutions
Test system data validations and mappings using Informatica Data Validation Option DVO and SQL
Work with stakeholders to address impacts on current business processes and data warehouse systems
Follow Agile software development processes and standards
Assist product owner in refining requirements for product backlog items
Document requirements and testing in Microsoft TFS
Coordinate and perform trading partner testing
Produce work products that demonstrate quality, efficiency, and effective use of standards and procedures
Provide timely status on assignments in a clear and concise manner
Escalate risks and issues with sufficient lead time to avert crises
May participate in on call support as well as after hour deployments of production releases
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members
Help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications
4 years minimum SQL experience to facilitate data warehouse analysis and testing
4 years minimum Creating testing queries and reports using SAP Business Intelligence Business Objects
4 years minimum Gathering requirements, testing and supporting data warehouse systems
4 years minimum Working with Medicaid and or healthcare data i.e. claims, encounters, eligibility and or provider data
4 years minimum Medicaid and or healthcare data analysis experience
1 year minimum Agile Scrum experience
1 year minimum Automated testing experience
Preferred Skills
Experience testing using Informatica Data Validation Option DVO
TX Medicaid business and systems knowledge
