A Strategy Consulting maestro with tons of experience in the retail industry, and leadership and management skills to spare. Your expertise Advising clients on data-driven retail, product development, sourcing and merchandising strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You have a flair for breaking down processes into logical parts and constructing crystal-clear reasoning and analyses-an aptitude you use to decimate problems. Communication and people skills You have both in spades, and as a manager you're a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.

The Work:
- Benchmarking and designing the omnichannel merchandising operating model (organization structure, roles, processes, KPIs) for a leading global athletic brand
- Diagnosing the core planning and inventory management issues of a cosmetics company and recommending new processes, roles, and tools to close the gap to leading practice
- Designing pre-season and in-season integrated planning processes with clear functional area roles and responsibilities at a major department store retailer
- Analyzing assortment and promotional activities of a leading convenience store to determine opportunities for improvement. Piloting data-driven merchandising capabilities to improve effectiveness in select business units
- Improving the effectiveness of the largest apparel retailers' pre-season assortment planning process; recommending new technologies
- Evaluating the demand patterns of a global specialty retailer in order to group stores into clusters that share similar characteristics and localize the assortment to meet the unique customer preferences
- Pivoting the pricing strategy and optimizing pricing to drive higher sales and margin for an office supply retailer
- Designing the ecommerce organization structure of a leading pharmacy retailer
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications
Here's What You Need:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Retail Merchandising, Planning or Inventory Management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Consulting experience at a Consulting firm or equivalent internal consulting experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in driving insights using statistics or data analysis
- A Bachelor's degree
- You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $177,500 - 260,300, depending on level, and information on benefits offered is here.
