Job Summary

As a Senior Strategist at Droga5, you are emerging as a leader in the strategy group. You have learned how to consistently nail inspiring, original, sharp strategic ideas for project / campaign briefs with a strong point of view that demand outstanding execution. You understand that thoughtfulness, empathy, and natural curiosity are necessary components in good strategy. You can craft an impactful story, backed with evidence, and dripping with vision. You push for idea-led integrated solutions that go beyond the obvious and generally consumed with how to make good work great.

At this point in your career you've demonstrated an ability to find opportunities for strategy to go beyond the brief. have learned how to collaborate with Data and Comms to build out systems of work, responsible for the full funnel. You own and lead complete projects, design and manage third party research, and are generally owning more and more responsibility. And as a result you've become someone who clients rely on for advice, who creative teams lean on for support and inspiration, and who feels as comfortable alone with a whiteboard as they do on a stage pitching a brave idea.

Job Responsibilities
  • Champion both the strategic and creative work in Integrated Marketing Communication and client settings
  • Create the strategic foundations of new business pitches based on the 4Box model
  • Craft compelling and inspiring creative briefs for both clients and creative
  • Develop the seed of an idea and extend others' ideas while building the ability to crack big brand ideas
  • Design and manage third party research
  • Guide and manage junior team members

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of brand strategy or relatable experience in a creative agency setting or adjacent industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree inarelated field, or equivalent training and/or experience
  • Expertise commissioning and executing research, including guiding the type of research to be performed and selling the proposal to clients
  • Demonstrated ability to impactfully contribute to the strategic direction of an account
  • Advanced knowledge of developing 4Box presentations
  • Ability to guide and extend development of the creative work
  • Incredibly organized, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and to solve for new processes and client/team needs
  • Adept at developing strong partner relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
