Our Data & AI team is renowned for insights and solutions they have provided to companies working to migrate various operations to the cloud and to manage them successfully. The Big data to cloud migration architect is responsible for building and delivering solutions to modernize and migrate legacy/on-prem data platforms (RDBMS and Big Data) to Cloud platform(AWS/Azure/GCP).

The Work
- Design cloud architectures to migrate on prem data warehouses/marts to Cloud
- Conduct full technical discovery, identifying pain points, business, and technical requirements, "as is" and "to be" scenarios
- Develop and prioritize use cases as it relates to Clients' data migration Journey to Cloud
- Provide prescriptive guidance across network, storage, Big Data, serverless architectures, Hadoop ecosystem, vendor products, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, and security
- Manage small teams of deliver engineers successfully delivering work efforts

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with databases as Teradata, Snowflake, Oracle, Netezza and/or big data suite as Hadoop, Cloudera, Hortonworks and technologies as Hive, Impala, Kudu, Spark, Hbase etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of designing, building and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions using one or more third-party resources such as Pyspark, Talend, Matellion, Informatica or native cloud utilities
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or an Associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience
Preferred Skills
- An active cloud certification (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Implementing DevOps on Cloud platform
- Experience in data governance fields as lineage, quality, catalog etc.
- Multi-cloud experience

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $90,900 - $188,599 and information on benefits offered is here.
