The role of the QC coordinator is to work directly with the ABM management to design and implement internal quality regulations for services and employees in accordance with ABM standards with intent to monitor and improve overall quality of service. The QC Coordinator will utilize an internet-based inspection application called SITE, automated surveys, established ABM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any Federal or local regulations that may apply to help ensure continually improving service performance.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a weekly schedule to ensure all assigned locations are inspected and to submit the report of findings at the end of each shift.
  • Analyze and compare data looking for trends using SITE (an internet-based ABM website), along with Microsoft software as well. 
  • Inspect buildings and properties for cleanliness per APPA standards, inspect facilities for maintenance standards and grounds as well, to ensure contract compliance.
  • Create workorders, follow up on workorders, and audit workorders for completion. Report to ABM management of findings. 
  • Monitor work being performed for safety compliance and write safety reports per observation. 
  • Communicate with managers and the client effectively.
  • Audit workorders using Asset Essential WO system.
  • Review daily inspections from other inspectors and advise Account Manager.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationship with service partners.                  
  • Handle issues in the field for multiple locations and report an unbiased opinion on matters. 
  • Act as point of contact and take the necessary steps and/or phone calls when a situation arises.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Account Manager.
  • Report any issues, concerns or important occurrences with customer or other stakeholders to the Account Manager.
  • Brief weekly and monthly reports to ABM Management team.
  • Create monthly reports by accurately tracking data thru out the month.
  • Help develop action plans to assist in correcting deficiencies.
  • Tour and inspect locations with client.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of experience in custodial or QA experience
  • Be willing, able, and available to work evening hours.
  • Be flexible with work hours as management will in turn be flexible with employees’ specific/individual circumstances.
  • Public speaking and report writing
  • Written and Verbal communication skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with various trades tools, application, equipment, concepts, local and federal facility based regulations
  • Human relations skills to maintain effective working relationships with team
  • Demonstrate customer service, and problem-solving skills using a rationality approach.
