AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Manager, Business Line Learning for our Call Center Insurance team! This position would be responsible for the development and implementation of business line learning to support AAA Club Alliance Insurance Associates as it pertains to their skill and knowledge to meet the expectations of their job. The Manager will lead a staff responsible for the development and delivery of learning curriculum, both instructor-led and virtual. The Manager, Business Line Learning is responsible for program delivery.

This is a Work from Home position, but candidate must live in our territory

  • Evaluates, identifies, and/or develops quality learning programs that meet the needs for the organization.
  • Leads and develops Learning Specialist capabilities to successfully perform job responsibilities, including content knowledge, facilitation skills, and materials to complete required programs.
  • Maintains a resource library of technical and procedural materials specific to the business line operations.
  • Delivers tools, programs, and resources aligned with business/organizational goals, to include both virtual and classroom facilitation.
  • Meets with L&D peers and Sr. Management to calibrate strategy implementation and maintain linkages with the Learning network across the organization.
  • Researches current industry trends and emerging learning practices and implements new procedures and technologies as appropriate.
  • Provide Sr. Mgmt. comprehensive reports on key project deliverables such as: budget vs. spend, overall project evaluation to stakeholders within established timelines, AAAU Learning Manager Reporting & analytics.
  • Participates as a member of the business line leadership team and interacts with others to ensure awareness of company direction. Offers learning solutions to business problems, where indicated, and maintains current level of knowledge about the company's potential future learning requirements.
  • Establishes a system for communication throughout the business line and across the Learning network. Utilizes different methods of communication to reinforce message and its consistency.
  • Works with the business line leadership team to ensure learning support for the business line strategy.
  • Serves as project leader for new learning initiatives.
  • Evaluates resources required to complete needed education, including those available outside the company. Assesses needed resources (including outside the company), as needed, to fill needs for both learning delivery and production/purchase of materials.
  • Serves as a business line representative on organization-wide committees and teams.
  • Directs learning activities of Learning Specialists to deliver learning programs within established time parameters to meet business needs, while ensuring the Learning Specialists have the necessary tools, including knowledge, skills, ability, and materials to complete required programs.
  • Evaluates, identifies, and/or develops quality learning programs that meet the needs of the business line. Conducts periodic needs assessments across the industry to benchmark best practices (national, other Clubs, private industry) and determines next steps.
  • Create learning plans for assigned job roles based on learner needs. For assigned job roles, validate content area recommendations from Business Line management. Work closely with Business Line management to ensure execution of learning plans. Determine and maintain effectiveness of learning plans sharing analytics with Business Line.
  • Establishes and maintains client-focused, high-value consultative and/or collaborative relationships with internal clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Partner with the ELearning and AAA University teams to identify innovative methods for delivery of the most effective learning solutions for assigned content areas and communicate solutions to business partners.
  • Budgets within organization guidelines for the department, accounting for materials, staff, projects, and new technologies.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Learning and Development, or related field.
  • 8 years of applicable experience; 6+ years of experience in the development and delivery of leadership development learning strategies, curriculum, and learning management.
  • 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
  • Certification from a learning organization preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to organize and deploy complex projects over a broad geographic territory.
  • Well-developed project management, vendor management, contracting, and budgeting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business line technologies.
  • Proficient in specific business line products, technologies, and procedures.
  • Ability to travel to conferences and throughout the ACA territory.
