AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Springfield, VA! This position performs repair, installation and maintenance of building systems, within owned and leased locations.

- Essential personnel for AAA locations on a 7 x 24 basis.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment according to established schedules and manufacturers specifications and frequencies.
- Perform installation, certification, and maintenance of low voltage telephone/data cable.
- Perform lighting maintenance and installation, interior and exterior.
- Assist, as directed, in moving associates during renovations and relocations.
- Perform operation of building system equipment including ventilation, refrigeration, energy management, pumps and electrical distribution.
- Perform Facilities work as directed.
- Receive and respond to work order requests in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
- Perform light carpentry and fabrication.
- Coordinate with and assist outside vendors to assure adherence to company standards for service.
- Work weekend on-call rotation to provide emergency coverage.
- Visit remote office/store locations as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School degree or equivalent required; additional trade school preferred.
- Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) Certification strongly preferred but not required.
- Boiler Operator License required by locality.
- Five years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Effective oral communication skills to enable accurate completion of assignments and effective interaction with external and internal customers.
- Ability to read and understand building prints and equipment schematics.
- Valid driver's license.
