We are truly Pallet Management Made Simple, our workforce is the heart and soul of our business, and we're looking for our next Business Development Manager to join our team!

As a Business Development Manager, also known as an Outside Sales Representative, you'll get to identify, engage, and sell new customer business for our McHenry Plant! We're looking for someone who is also able to develop existing accounts, build upon existing relationships, retain, grow, and cultivate customers who have been with us for years. This is a vital position for the future success of our McHenry Plant, but also for our entire organization!

What You'll Do
  • Develop and/or manage leads resulting in $8-$10M in new business sales annually over 'local/regional coverage' in all industry segments
  • Create and maintain a diverse and balanced pipeline with at least $20M in new growth opportunity
  • Manage existing customer accounts resulting in $30-40M in business sales annually over "local coverage" in all industry segments
  • Full customer management responsibilities from on-boarding
  • Represent 48forty at various tradeshows & industry events, developing network and establishing 48forty as solutions provider
  • Match potential organizational capability to various needs as identified by customer base
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or other equivalent academic disciplines
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a regional or national sales position
  • Experience in the Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or Pallet/Container industries is preferred
  • Experience with account management, sales management, client relations, business to business sales strongly preferred
  • Bilingual preferred in Spanish and English

Salary is dependent on experience and can shift; however, this is our starting target range.

Targeted Salary Range
