This Just in: Coffee Isn't the Only Secret to Feeling Awake in the Morning

Coffee is a great way to wake up in the morning, but it isn't the only way. This AsapSCIENCE video provides other methods for you to get out of bed each day.

My favorite kitchen appliance is my coffee maker. Not because it produces a beverage I love, but because it has an automatic timer. Before I go to bed, I can set it to be ready when I wake up the next day. And I think that’s just about the coolest thing ever (it’s not that hard to impress me, can you tell?).

But, what I’ve realized about myself is that I don’t like relying on that morning brew to drag me out of bed each day. More so, I enjoy it as a mid-morning treat. And as someone who’s trying to cut down on her caffeine intake, I can’t have a mug of it at the break of dawn (ahem—an hour later) and at my desk. I have to choose one, and most days it’s the latter.

So, without that steaming cup of joe to get me out from under my covers, how do I do it? Well, believe it or not, there are others ways you can make yourself rise and shine without coffee, and you can watch this video to find out what they are. I promise—you can still get to work on time and have a productive morning.

Let me know which one you choose on Twitter!
