Angela was always passionate about her work as the Director of BioInformatics at the global life sciences company Labcorp. But when she became a patient herself, she felt even more of a connection with the people she helps on a daily basis.
“My personal experience of going through genetic testing definitely changed the way I viewed everything at work, just knowing what it felt like to be that patient on the other end of the phone waiting to hear their results,” she says.
