Everything happens via email these days. But that doesn't mean we need to check it every five minutes. Use these strategies to help stop doing that.

How many times a day do you scroll down on your inbox, forcing it to check if any new messages have come in? Come on—don’t be shy. I bet if you really, really, think about it, you do this more often than you’re willing to admit.

Sure, if you’re waiting to hear back about a job you applied to, I get it. But how often is that the scenario? The truth is, our society has formed a fairly unhealthy relationship with email.

The good news is, this infographic will provide you with some strategies to help you step away from the email. And then, you can get back to the actual items on your to-do list, paying attention to the people you’re spending time with, or just existing without a phone in front of your face. It’ll be worth it—I promise.
