Finding your first internship or job in a new field can be scary. What if you don’t have the experience they’re looking for (because you don’t have, um, any experience)? What if everyone else is more qualified than you? What if you never break into your dream field?

There are plenty of companies out there with internships and entry-level jobs geared toward helping you gain the experience you need to succeed. While, yes, you’ll need to show off some transferrable skills and may need to demonstrate some knowledge of specialized software or abilities (which can be self taught!), companies aren’t looking for you to have much experience under your belt to qualify for these roles.
