10 Companies With Truly Amazing Offices

Are you looking to work at an amazing company that’s got a great exterior to match? We’ve pulled together a list of companies that are doing incredible things all the time—while looking really good doing it.

1. HomeAway

Where: Austin and London

HomeAway isn’t just a totally rad vacation rental marketplace; it’s also a space of intense team culture. What goes well with a team that meshes well? Great offices, obviously (complete with cozy lounge spaces and travel-inspired decor). Another huge plus: HomeAway is hiring dozens of new employees, so you might just get to see this bright and open space for yourself.

2. Zappos

Where: Las Vegas

Zappos describes itself as a family, so it’s no surprise that its headquarters are all about keeping the family open and welcoming. The compound features plenty of communal space, including picnic tables, four-person tables, and plenty of open workspace.

3. Pinsight Media+

Where: Kansas City, MO

Pinsight Media+ is a mobile media company that takes great pride in its downtown Kansas City office space. With exposed cement walls, all glass offices, and a glowing logo, it’s no wonder Pinsight’s employees love working there. (Great company culture and a foosball table might have something to do with it, too.)

4. Airbnb

Where: San Francisco

Since Airbnb employees don’t get to do a ton of traveling (they have to work, after all), the company brings a whole slew of trips to the office. Conference rooms are modeled off of different travels (treehouse, anyone?), and the entire headquarters is decorated. Even better, Airbnb is hiring in several fields, including HR, engineering, and operations.

5. World Wildlife Fund

Where: Washington, DC

World Wildlife Fund, the world’s leading conservation organization, is all about making its offices as green as its mission. Thus, you won’t be surprised to learn that the office is filled to the brim with flora and fauna, and it also has a LEED Platinum certification (because energy conservation is extra cool).

6. Dormify

Where: New York

It’s no surprise that an organization dedicated to dorm room decor and products would have such a chic office, complete with adorable furnishings and excellent views. Want to join the style-loving team? Dormify is hiring for stylists all the time.

7. Method

Where: San Francisco

Talk about swanky! Method’s offices showcase the sleek and modern design of its products and the never-ending creativity of its staff. Interested in joining such a cool team? Method is hiring in the creative, business, and engineering fields.

8. Umbel

Where: Austin

This data company isn’t just smart in terms of its operations; its office design and decor are pretty genius, too. The team also has a mascot: A glitter-masked wrestler bobblehead whose slogan is, “Let's get ready to rUMBEL!”

9. TripAdvisor

Where: Boston

TripAdvisor’s site of travel reviews isn’t complete without a great office to match. This headquarters features an open floor concept, awesome artwork, and puzzles everywhere you look (it’s also not uncommon to see unfinished games of chess laying around).

10. NFL

Where: New York

If you’re a sports junkie, there’s no better place to work than at NFL headquarters. Not only is the place decked out with great communal spaces for maximum productivity (like the beloved Huddle Cafe), it’s also a shrine to the sport of football, including a shiny football desk in the front of the building. Interested? The NFL is hiring in the editorial, business, and creative sectors.
