Coney Island Prep

Coney Island Prep is a college-preparatory public charter school in Brooklyn, NY that currently serves over 1,000 scholars across three schools in grades K-12. As one of few charter schools operating in Brooklyn’s 21st District, Coney Island Prep believes it has a unique opportunity to do something more powerful than “give back”. Instead, the school aims to right the wrongs of educational inequality in the area by providing choices and access to opportunities that may not be offered where scholars and families reside. Working here means creating an academic experience tailored to the community it calls home.
