Position Summary:
This Manager, Technical Accounting candidate will leverage their experience researching relevant accounting guidance to identify key accounting issues and recommend accounting solutions and disclosure requirement for complex and non-routine transactions. This role will interact with members of the Finance & Accounting team, and also with other employees across business lines, including exposure to senior management.

Interpret U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance to determine the accounting and financial reporting treatment, including internal control considerations, for new material, and/or complex, unusual transactions or agreements. Provide support on a broad range of technical accounting areas, including revenue recognition, debt and lease accounting, for transaction analysis to ensure GAAP compliance, and aid in creation of technical accounting documentation when necessary. Assist in the development and maintenance of TKO's critical accounting policies. Review and support the preparation of various SEC filings, including the quarterly/annual external financial statements, to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Partner with Accounting and FP&A teams to operationalize the accounting relating to complex transactions as well as assist in designing relevant controls. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Business Partners to understand the broader business objectives, and provide accounting guidance and best practice recommendations to enable process changes. Facilitate trainings on relevant accounting topics to TKO personnel. Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews, ensuring all financial reports align with GAAP and SEC requirements. Other duties, including special projects and analysis for senior management, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance highly preferred. At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within a public company or a public accounting firm. Deep understanding of SEC, GAAP and SOX compliance is essential. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, is a must. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization and external partners. Self-motivated and proactive; able to function in a fast paced, dynamic environment and still pay close attention to details Ability to work evenings, weekends, and periodic long days. Ability to travel periodically for work. Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
