About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
- Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
- Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
- Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
- Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
- Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

- 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Proficient in Power BI, SQL, SSIS, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processes to support business intelligence.
- Design and implement data visualizations using Power BI.
- Analyze large data sets using SQL and Excel.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models.
- Prepare and present data-driven insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Experience with data modeling.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
- Certification in data analysis or visualization.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Design and implement data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau and SQL.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports.
- Develop and maintain data storytelling capabilities.
- Prepare and present data-driven insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation of data analysis and findings.
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
