About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Test Automation) in Enterprise Functions Technology's Quality Engineering Group. The mission of the Quality Engineering (QE) team is to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by implementing and maintaining a robust framework for automated testing, continuous integration, and quality assurance practices across the development lifecycle. The team aims to proactively identify and resolve defects, ensuring that the organization delivers reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.

The ideal candidate will work on test automation strategy and will design, develop, execute and maintain automated test suite to ensure highest quality standards in our software development processes.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within testing domain
  • Prepare test strategy for EFT portfolio working in collaboration with cross-functional enterprise teams
  • Create and maintain details test documentation, test plans, test cases and test scripts
  • Create and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
  • Integrate automated tests into CICD pipeline
  • Analyze production incidents with testing as a root cause and come with a corrective plan/remediation measures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and with the organizational standards on Quality and Test engineering
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Junit, TestNG, or similar
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
  • 3+ years of experience with databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  • 3+ years of experience working in SCRUM or other Agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C# or JavaScript
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Teamworking abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
