About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Accountability Specialist to

deliver strong data driven analysis and initiative management to measure and improve governance and execution in CTO, improving effectiveness, quality and our risk profile.

The individual will regularly take initiative on assigned tasks and provide support across multiple projects and across a range of business and functional areas. Further, this individual will serve an organizational role within the team, logging challenges encountered, compiling team progress reports, as well as participating in ongoing business process reviews and helping create risk analytics, reporting and dashboards.

  • Be a part of a highly skilled team of professionals to manage and ensure proper execution of the issue management policy on behalf CTO Risk Strategy, Governance and Execution team
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME's), Business Control Management (BCM), Independent Risk Management (IRM), to drive improvements to CTO governance routines.
  • Lead Program/Project meetings for quick escalation of emerging risks and execution challenges:
    • Serves as the front-line management forum for decision-making, issue resolution, and providing appropriate leadership-level information for program risks and issues
    • Evaluates proposed changes to the program scope, adherence to scope as defined, changes to governance actions and commitment dates in the plan
    • Escalates challenges to the appropriate governance committee that are unable to be resolved at the program level
    • Address decisions that cross organizational boundaries
  • Design and implement an operational framework that includes escalation management
  • Perform analysis of complex data and develop executive level reporting
  • Assists with business review, business requirement development, gap analysis, feasibility, and solution development with stakeholders
  • Coordinates across team and disseminates relevant information of project progress and challenges
  • Builds concise presentations and dashboards for review by senior members of the team
  • Consumes complex business information quickly and synthesizes in an efficient manner
  • Builds high-quality relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Is forward thinking and anticipates next steps and challenges, where possible
  • Applies critical thought to evaluating business problems and assists in the development of logical, pragmatic control solutions
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence plans, specifications, resource needs, and goals for multi-faceted, highly complex, or long-term technology transformation strategies on behalf of the business
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks which require understanding of business-specific knowledge related to operational risk, audit, legal, IT, systems security, business process management, and applicable business acumen
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale, multi-faceted, long-term, or companywide strategies
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6 + years of experience in one or more functional areas: Technology, Project Management, or Business Operations, Compliance or Operational Risk Management,
  • 5 + years of experience in program/project management to drive key initiative implementation
  • 5 + years of experience developing and delivering executive level reporting, comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership
Desired Qualifications:
  • Effective developing data driven measures of organizational effectiveness, compliance and emerging risks
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Technical writing experience
  • Understanding of risk framework - including application and conceptual
  • Experience creating reporting and dashboards - Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint
  • Conceptual and analytical thinker, able to understand, analyze and synthesize complex business and technologies issue and strategies
  • Working knowledge of industry frameworks, such as, COBIT, NIST, ITIL
Pay Range:

144,400 - 300,000 USD Annual
