About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
- Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
- Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
- Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
- Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
- Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
- Lead Control Management project or virtual teams

- 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- University degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Able to work in a global and multi-cultural environment.
- Experience working in or closely with Front lines Business Groups(Operations)
- (or external equivalents) sufficient to demonstrate a working knowledge of their
products/services, key processes/systems, and organizational structure. - Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
- Direct and proven experience developing and implementing solutions for Control Management Activities inclusive of, but not limited to, RCSA, Issue Management, and Global Delivery Activities.
- Strong project management and execution skills, including the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Ability to influence stakeholders in a collaborative environment without direct organizational Authority
- Proven ability to develop pertinent reporting and analytics to help in understanding and aid in the development of solutions for complex risk and control issues
- Ability to identify root cause of identified issues and evaluate potential mitigation plans
- Familiarity with process analysis and improvement frameworks.
- Assist with enterprise requests and / or be the individual to reach out for any required support for the global and local team.
- Strong working knowledge of Operations products and relevant risks and controls of the business -Payment Operations/Transformation Program
- Sound understanding or experience of writing BRD (Business Requirement Document)
- Good Understanding of SDLC
- Demonstrated capability to confidently raise issues, escalate early, and engage in constructive credible challenge independently.
- Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) concepts and policies across risk types (regulatory, financial crimes, credit, operational, etc.)
- Knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including new business initiatives, risk identification, issues and escalations management, risk measurement and risk acceptance
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal); ability to concisely articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
- Ability to develop high performing, diverse risk structure in a highly matrixed environment.
- Ability to take direction from multiple individuals and work independently.
- Interpret and develop Escalations policies and procedures to ensure Policy SLA service standards meet business objectives
- Collaborate with Business Leaders, peer BCMs and Issues Management team in achieving program objectives
