  • Contribute to development and execution of corporate strategy
  • Provide information and recommendations to more experienced executives
  • Influence all management levels, and provide expertise to the Chief Executive Officer or other members of the executive team, present key information within Change Management to support strategic decision making
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Change Implementation
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • 10+ years of Change Implementation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong risk experience including regulatory compliance, oversight, and control experience of operational processes and services.
  • Operational experience through systems integrations, change, and governance of operational change management.
  • Regulatory, Control, and Resilience Operations with high risk board programs and risk frameworks.
  • Operations leadership experience within large financial services organizations that includes progressively increased responsibilities.
  • Experience creating and executing transformational strategic plans in a business of comparable size, scale, and complexity as Wells Fargo. Ideally will have gained relevant experience in an adjacent industry and/or company known for their customer and team member centricity.
  • Strong execution and track record delivering strategic and transformational changes. Able to generate commitment to change across broad group of stakeholders and deliver against multi-year plan.
  • Proven ability to identify business risks and process inefficiencies, with proven ability to plan and execute process improvements to mitigate such risk and inefficiencies, particularly by leveraging systems and automation
  • Experience in solving multiple and complex challenges through critical thinking and cross- functional collaboration.
  • Significant exposure and experience dealing with regulatory agencies and internal audit assessments and meeting regulatory requirements and/or working in regulated environments.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build rapport easily, able to influence a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven collaboration skills to achieve solutions that meet the needs of the organization; able to resolve issues, and overcome obstacles.
  • Strong level of general business acumen, thinks conceptually, identifies, and addresses future challenges and opportunities, often in an ambiguous environment.
  • Experience presenting/preparing executive summaries, whitepapers, and presentations for executive management, senior leaders, board members and regulators.
  • Ability to operate both at the strategic and, where required, detailed level.
  • Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement, retention and performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large and complex enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and/or data simply and craft clear and compelling stories for executive engagement and influence.
  • Virtual leadership experience with demonstrated success selecting talent, ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with direct and indirect reports in a geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

The Chief Operating Office (COO)

The COO is responsible for delivering a consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes Global Operations, which includes Consumer Operations, Wholesale Operations, Shared Services, and additional Operations business reporting. Operations drives efficiency and risk mitigation through process simplification, functional consolidation, automation, and effective controls.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo's risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team, Regulatory and Policy Affairs, Enterprise Complaints and Remediations, and Sales Practices and Conduct Management.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

Chief Administrative Office

The Chief Administrative Office (CAO) protects Wells Fargo and its most critical assets while enabling the company's commercial success. We do this through our work in our four strategic areas of focus: protect the franchise, drive commerciality, enhance the employee experience, and elevate data and digital.

The Role

The Head of Strategic Programs & Enterprise Change Management Senior Executive will report to the Chief Administrative Officer for Wells Fargo. This leader will provide vision and set direction to a multi-disciplinary team that is accountable for:
  • Driving strategic initiatives set by the firm's leadership,
  • Managing the change management portfolio for the COO division
  • Managing transition services for divestitures and acquisitions
  • Managing the enterprise's change management process, procedures, and governance
  • Managing the performance management of the enterprise change portfolio
This is a highly visible role, with exposure to Operating Committee stakeholders and leading an organization that brings together groups with expertise in strategy, problem solving, process reengineering, and driving large, complex programs to completion. Additionally, this leader is responsible for ensuring that sound change management practices are followed across the enterprise.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading delivery of critical change programs across both the COO organization and the Enterprise.
  • Establishing and ensuring proper execution of the company's Enterprise Change Management policy.
Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$249,500.00 - $518,300.00
