Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Director to lead a team for Value in Kind (VIK) Finance. More immediately, this role will be tasked with solving for creating better infrastructure and systems to reporting Value in Kind (VIK) activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale finance programs, building dashboards, and utilizing business intelligence tools as this role requires a deep understanding of data management, financial analysis, and cross-functional program management.

Essential Functions
- Lead the VIK Finance team in managing and optimizing VIK (Value in Kind) fund tracking and reporting processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive program management strategies for the tools and process to ensure VIK performance and availably is systemically reported to stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Controllership functions, sales, and delivery functions, to define and meet business intelligence needs.
- Enhance the FP&A reporting, scorecard tracking, and target setting to provide increased visibility into business performance.
- Drive thought leadership to improve VIK utilization across all Visa products.
- Lead Annual and quarterly financial planning cycles for VIK, in advisory and other products.
- Improve the accuracy and timeliness of VIK reporting through the use of business intelligence tools, and resolve the hurdles related financial system data issues.
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
- Extensive experience in data management, including proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and other MS Power Suite tools.
- Understanding of financial analysis and cross-functional program management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale finance programs with cross-functional exposure.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in building and managing dashboards for financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of VIK fund tracking and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and techniques.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 200,000 to 312,100 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
