The role is part of the Consumer Marketing Hub team, where we work with a wider team of subject matter experts in the Asia Pacific hub. Our team works in partnership with our marketing team counterparts in 18 markets across Asia Pacific; our global marketing partners and our cross functional business teams.

Our aim as the creative and content team is to establish Visa as the engine of commerce through creative leadership, brand storytelling, and operationalizing new ways of working to deliver best-in-class end-to-end marketing activations. 

What a Manager – In-house Creator does at Visa:

This position supports the Senior Director, Brand, Creative and Content, in delivering content across media platforms, and with setting the strategic and creative direction of our Brand and key business initiatives [e.g. Ecommerce, Cash Conversion] for Visa AP [B2C] and for Visa’s clients [B2B2C].

Working closely with cross-functional teams [Insights, Brand, Product] and client marketers across AP, this role will lead the development, execution and implementation of engaging, effective, insights-driven content across multiple media channels helping to drive Visa brand preference and create revenue opportunities with clients.

  • As an in-house creator, this role will have dual mandates. The first of which is to create content for Visa’s social channels on both a campaign and always on basis. The second of which is to leverage this expertise to consult with and create content with and for Visa’s clients (issuing banks; merchants; fintechs etc) to drive and achieve joint business priorities. As such, we are also looking for creators that have strong selling and influencing skills as you will have revenue targets to support.

Ideally, this person will have an active and significant content creator base; natively familiar with Asia Pacific Social platforms to demonstrate aptitude and subject matter expertise in creating content. As a corollary to this, this person will have demonstrable experience in content editing. Ideally, this person will have experience in both illustration and 3D design.

This role will work closely with the Senior Manager of Content and Social; as well as the Senior Manager of Campaigns and Creative on a daily basis. This person will provide a creative spark that inspires the team and organization; unafraid of acting, thinking and working differently.

Projects you will be a part of:

  • You will lead content creation and production for AP, using your experience to create content which drives brand preference and conversion with both Visa and partner offers with our merchants and clients
  • You will be the working to developing content for Visa Athletes in our sponsorship campaigns including The Olympics and the FIFA World Cup
  • You will work to develop and create content with our regional and local sponsorship properties across Sports; Gaming/esports; Music, and Fashion.

 

 

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 8+ years marketing or communications experience; 5 years active social media experience with deep understanding of digital platforms and channel strategies
  • Expert in project management – working with multiple stakeholders to deliver revenue yielding projects on brief, on time and on budget.
  • Proactive thinking and desire to take risks to test and learn
  • Creative flair and a good pulse on social trends
  • Demonstrable experience in building and leading content and asset production
  • Demonstrable experience in story telling across multiple formats and channels
  • Education: Bachelors’ or business/marketing or related field with marketing foundation
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude; take ownership of the vision and able to get stuff done
  • Effective at negotiating and managing multiple stakeholders

What will also help:

  • Agency, Publishing or editorial experience will be a plus
