Emergency Veterinarian
- Buffalo Grove, IL
Veterinary Specialty Center (VSC) is one of the nation’s oldest local and independently owned specialty and emergency hospitals. We don’t brag about much, but with over 40 years in business, we have matured to the point where we realize that veterinary medicine is about more than fixing dogs and cats or fancy equipment. We understand that veterinary medicine can have meaning beyond the nuts and bolts of a typical specialty and emergency hospital.
Our owners and staff share the belief that the enormous impact of the high-tech and state-of-the-art services we provide compels us to expand our mission. We not only want VSC to be a good company but an organization that does good; for our patients, clients, referring veterinarians, staff, community and the environment. We take this social and environmental responsibility very seriously; it shapes our unique culture and guides our growth and business decisions.
- It’s the reason we were named a Chicago Tribune Top 100 Workplace for 2016
- It’s the reason we are engaged in B-Corporation Certification
- It’s the reason why we are the first hospital in Chicagoland and one of only eight internationally to achieve VetCOT Level 1 Trauma Center Certification
And it’s the unique quality that differentiates us from any other specialty hospital in the world.
We are looking for like-minded people who want to practice “veterinary medicine that matters” in a supportive, collaborative and loving environment. We want doctors who will bring their passion, their skills, and their ‘make the world a better place’ attitude to the north shore of Chicago.
We have positions available for emergency veterinarians in our growing ER practice. Whether you are finishing up a rotating internship or looking for a fresh start, if you share this vision, send us your resume.
Job Description Summary:
