Toyota's Export & Supply Project Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Shipping Management Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to Manage 60+ North American suppliers to ensure high quality & on-time shipping to Toyota manufacturing plants around the world.
Reporting to the Export & Supply Projects Manager, the person in this role will support the Export & Supply Project department's objective to ensure high quality & on-time shipments to export customers.
What you'll be doing
- Support the Export Shipping Management department's objective to ensure the shipping of domestic parts to overseas Toyota plants is completed on time.
- Monitor supplier on-time compliance, reschedule missed shipments, and actively support suppliers in recovery plans.
- Process and monitor air and trial orders to ensure on-time delivery to overseas Toyota plants.
- Engage with the supplier(s)/cross docks to solve supply chain issues related to missed shipments, quality, and shipping compliance.
- Communicate directly with overseas customers regarding supply chain disruptions and actions being taken to resolve disruptions.
- Meet regularly with cross docks and Logistics Operations to monitor freight flow in and out of the dock and support both groups where freight is not moving.
- Train North American suppliers on export unique processes and support supplier readiness leading up to SOP.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Management) or equivalent experience
- Experience in supply chain management
- Experience in a fast-paced environment working with multiple stakeholders in problem-solving and coordinating within supply chain operations
- Strong problem-solving, quality, process development, and kaizen thinking
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel knowledge and understanding to analyze data quickly and efficiently
Added bonus if you have
- Toyota supply chain management or logistics experience
- Proven demonstration of problem-solving principles such as TBP or 5 why analysis
- S/4Hana (SAP) experience
