The Wally Shop is looking for a Director of Marketing who will oversee and manage all Marketing Programs and Initiatives. This would include: planning and overseeing brand development strategy, planning and overseeing marketing campaigns and programs, planning and overseeing PR strategy.
The Director of Marketing will be tasked with making sure The Wally Shop has a clear marketing strategy in alignment with the brand identity. This encompasses planning and overseeing marketing campaigns and programs as well as managing both internal and external creatives. Applicants should accordingly have strong communication, analytic, presentation and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone with a go-getter attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
Reporting to the Founder, the Director of Marketing will lead all marketing activities, including (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:
- Creating and driving an overall marketing strategy
- Hiring and training Marketing team members
- Ensuring The Wally Shop’s brand and story are communicated
- Planing and overseeing key marketing initiatives and programs to reach The Wally Shop’s goals
- Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals for the organization
As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must have a passion for entrepreneurship and a strong interest in consumer brands. Additional requirements are:

Strong desire to work for a start up and in an entrepreneurial culture are a must for this role.
