Position: Senior Marketing Manager, Multiple Myeloma Diagnostic Innovations,

Reports To: Senior Director Marketing, Protein Diagnostics Division

Location: Birmingham, UK (or ability to travel to Birmingham as required)

Position Summary:

Develop and implement the global marketing strategy for the Multiple Myeloma Diagostic Innovations platform within the Protein Diagnostics Division (PDX) of Thermofisher. Monitor market trends, Business intelligence and competitive activities in order to develop patient-centric Marketing approach to navigate complex pathways for Innovative Mass Spectrometry solutions . Lead a team of upstream and downstream marketers, collaborating with R&D, RAQA & Commercial to ensure development of the future pipeline and flawless delivery of marketing messaging, campaigns and tools to the commercial organization and customer base globally. Navigate the complexity of the leadership matrix and serve as an inspiring leader that fosters collaboration across divisions and supports talent development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science or business-related field, preferred, Relevant Masters preferable or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years relevant experience in marketing across regulated health care companies, preferably IVD and / or Mass Spectrometry.
  • Innovative leader with experience leading upstream and downstream marketing preferred.
  • Understanding of Immunodiagnostics or protein diagnostics preferred.
  • Experience in Launch / Commercialization Excellence, preferred.
  • Experience in Value Based or Solution Based Marketing preferred.
  • Results oriented with a passion for driving continuous improvement.
  • An influential leader with executive presence & expertise in conflict management and the ability to provide a balanced perspective.
  • Prior experience working in large corporate environment, or a diversified organization is required.
  • Strong project management skills in both short-term impact and long term, strategic achievements.
