You will be at the forefront of managing relationships with customers in our Cryo-EM Consortium and Centers of Excellence, ensuring flawless execution of business development initiatives.

This position is in Lexington, MA or San Francisco, CA.

A day in the life

  • Recruitment, onboarding, and business relations with our Cryo-EM Consortium and Center of Excellence members.
  • Align on pharma and biotech growth initiatives with the matrixed organization.
  • Monitor the pharma and biotech funding landscapes to inform effective business development strategies.
  • Capture and format business intelligence on large pharma accounts to support commercial objectives.
  • Deliver thought leadership on drug discovery and cryo-EM to drive executive-level engagement.
  • Help commercial colleagues in crafting and delivering tailored reasons to promote sales prospects.

Keys to success

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably within biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology or similar.
  • Advanced degree preferred, but not required.

Experience

  • 5+ years of relatable experience required, preferably in progressive roles within drug discovery.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Enthusiasm and passion for the pharma and biotech discovery sector.
  • Proven understanding of the role of structure and cryo-EM in the drug discovery process.
  • Familiarity with the broad spectrum of modalities addressed in pre-clinical drug discovery.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal leadership and external partners.
  • Strong focus on staying organized and paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
