You will join a dynamic team of software developers, architects, scientists and engineers as well as product marketing colleagues to craft, design and develop meaningful web applications and services related to analytical instruments and applications for world-wide customers. As a key player in developing modern commercial web applications and web services, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the latest software design and development, new technologies, modern user experience, AI and AI applications, and such. Our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments and technologies make a real, positive, and strong impact on the lives of people across the globe!

What will you do?

  • Apply strong computer science and programming skills to solve real-world problems in the life science and analytical industries
  • Design, implement, and deploy web applications and services with new features following the best design/coding practices and modern micro-services architecture
  • Daily hands-on development activities of coding, unit test, integration testing, design and code reviews
  • Present and demo work to team as needed
  • Work with backend and frontend developers for integration
  • Collaborate with multi-functional team following Agile software development process
  • Help set and review high standard latest design and coding guideline with architects and technical leads

How will you get here?

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or STEM related with strong software focus

Experience

  • 8+ years of full life cycle development experience of commercial web applications
  • Strong design and programming skills with C# .NET, .NET core, microservices, we services, Restful API.
  • Experience with robust web application design, client-server communication.
  • Experience with web app packaging, such as docker image
  • Experience with RabbitMQ, PostgreSql is preferred.
  • Full stack development on both front end and backend is preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Working experience with Biotech, Pharma, Chemical Analysis or Life Science Industry is preferred
  • Experience with AWS deployment is preferred
  • Experience with web front end skills is a plus: Javascript, Typescript, micro-frontend technologies, JS frameworks (Vue or React), reusable web components development and distribution, HTML5, CSS for responsive layout

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $163,100.00-$200,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
