Job Description
Essential Job Function and Accountability:
The Product Sales Specialist is primarily responsible for lead generation and technical sales for Thermo Fisher Scientific's Chemicals product portfolio. This person's core responsibilities include developing new sales pipelines, building customer relationships, lead technical marketing activities and collaborate with other divisional colleagues to anchor Thermo Fisher Scientific as the supplier-of-choice for customers to meet or exceed operating plans. This role is a predominantly a field-based technical sales role, focused primarily on Indonesia's laboratory and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution
- See opportunities within the geographical territory, drive the sales process towards closure to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Generate customer demand by proactively engaging customer base and providing superior customer experience
- Connect, develop and educate customer base by ensuring all mutually helpful business opportunities are explored in a timely and professional way
- Ensure feedback including win/loss reasons, competitor intelligence and market knowledge is provided to the Product Management and broader sales teams
Technical marketing and customer support
- Conduct product demonstrations, seminars and participate in customer engagement activities as the need arises to support the business growth strategy
- Provide technical support to customers and be the key liaison between customers and factory to ensure needs, feasibility and expectations are clearly aligned and met.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing teams to develop technical content and marketing activities.
Pipeline and Opportunity Management
- Supervise a comprehensive opportunity pipeline and sales projections, including encouraged closing dates and the entire sales process from start to finish (engaging with collaborators, identifying next steps, assessing competition, etc.).
- Diligently maintain a record of customer visits and interactions using the CRM platform

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related Science and Engineering fields
- Minimum 5 years relevant commercial and/or technical experience in laboratory and manufacturing sectors, especially in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Energy storage, Chemicals, or related applications and industries.
- Full professional proficiency in Microsoft Office application suites.
