Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a world-class leader in the field of Information Technology, is seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and ambition to join our team as an Investigator Services Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for sites and monitors through email or phone
  • Monitor, track, and effectively manage the resolution of all complaints, discrepancies, and concerns. Collaborate with management or the relevant department for timely resolutions.
  • Provide guidance on pre-analytical aspects of the study to ensure smooth flow of data to and from the site
  • Triage calls and direct them to the appropriate individual or department for resolution
  • Resolve queries to ensure efficient and timely sample analysis by the laboratory
  • Notify sites and necessary contacts of all relevant critical values or study-specific requirements
  • Monitor and notify the relevant departments or individuals about any site issues for resolution.
  • Evaluate requests for additional tests and facilitate necessary actions
  • Coordinate and resolve issues with samples and requisition forms for seamless data management
  • Amend patient information in the site database as required
  • Attend study meetings to discuss risk assessment and business concerns

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Japanese and English. The program will support Japan and Korea sites.
  • Candidate must pass the Japanese Language proficiency test
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Diligent with a keen eye for achieving flawless results
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to successfully implement projects
