Summary of Internship

Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, engineering and science students to get hands on experience in the sales environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Connect with research scientists tied to specific accounts for product information and sales presentations.
  • Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers to achieve/exceed assigned territory sales plan.
  • Coordinate sales processes for assigned accounts in assigned geography.
  • Participate in sales product and systems trainings, marketing campaigns, and special projects to develop selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop automated data loads and schedules to ensure timeliness of information.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and compile data for various performance metrics
  • Establish measurements and targets based on historic and forecasted data.

How will you get here?

  • Soon-to-be or recent Bachelor or Master's degree graduate in a related science, life-science or engineering field
  • Proficiency in Italian and advanced level of English are required
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing or Sales. Any previous experience in the area is more than welcomed.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
  • Outstanding customer focus
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are required in performing all functions of this position.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Experience using computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Availability to be onsite 3-4 days a week - this is not a remote opportunity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional presence.
