How you will make an impact:
The Software Quality Engineer (SQE) has a self-propelling role, working as a member of a software development team within the R&D organization, to build software that increases value for our customers via automated semiconductor process equipment that delivers wafer-to-atomic information, enabling our customers to make timely decisions.
Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:
- Lead test activities across the development team and internal customers.
- Review requirements, and translate them into test specifications.
- Review Acceptance Criteria for user stories to ensure testability.
- Write test plans, including planning estimations.
- Implement test cases, analyze test results, and create test reports.
- Review integration testing and feature delivery.
- Report test progress, and seek and support problem solving with developers.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in test design and testing of sophisticated multidisciplinary (hardware/software) systems.
- Experience with different testing techniques, functional and nonfunctional testing and test automation.
- Experience with quality improvement processes and products.
- Working experience with full system stack & full modular testing
- Experience with Validating software
- Experience testing and debugging full system stack
- Agile/Scrum experience is required
- Automation is required
Competencies:
The successful candidate will possess the following proficiencies:
- Working experience with Agile / Scrum.
- Excellent understanding of test processes, methodologies and standards, preferably underpinned by an ISTQB certification.
- Hands-on approach.
- Risk based testing, to improve test resource usage efficiency and apply the most suitable test technique.
- Experience in scripting.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Well-structured way of working.
- Drive to get results (also from others) within project timelines.
- Actively participate in the development of the strategy for automated testing.
- Test-Automation infrastructure development
- Developing automated test procedures
- Working with software developers to improve the testability of our products
